Sparky
is 4 years old and has his AQHA papers. Sparky has
been started in a very smooth and graceful way. He
does have some tieing up issues so his care must be
specific to that.
Adopted !!

Meet Chico; a 3 yr old going
on 4 15' Quarter Horse gelding. He is a nice well
bred guy. I picked him up from a client who passed
away so no papers, but his dam is double Doc Bar and
his sire is Freckle Face Smoke. Ready to be start;
very healthy with strong barefoot hooves. Raised in
the hills and gentled very well.

Daisy is a wonderful
15 hand mare in her early to mid-teens that needs
about 6 months to heal from a withers fracture. She
is extraordinarily well trained and sweet for all
levels of riding. She was trained and shown
in western disciplines like pleasure, and used
for a short time as a lesson horse for young people.
She is good with both adults and children.
I feel her ideal rider might be a young
person, or a cheerful adult beginner, as she
is both safe and fun-loving. Lots of vet information
on her healing process and many folks are offering
their services.

This
is Golden Jesi; a 4 yr old TB mare off the track.
She is a typical OTTB; but quite sound and very people
positive. Very strong barefoot hooves. She could be
trained and shown or be a very nice family horse.
Anybody looking for a worthwhile training project?
Currently track broke.
Adopted!

Spirit
is the daughter of a mare impounded by Animal Control
and cared for by the CHANGE
program. She was starving but her daughter was faring
a little better so AC did not impound her. However
the owner was willing to surrender and CHANGE called
upon SAFER to get her out of there. Betsy Bueno found
her a great home with SaraBeth out at Chanselor Ranch.
Here is SaraBeth when Spirit (now Kalua) first arrived.
Soon we will have new pics as Kalua has put back on
her proper weight; had her teeth and feed done and
is going very nicely under saddle.
Thank you so much to Betsy, SaraBeth and Katie Moore
(from the CHANGE program) who rounded her up and transported
her to her new life. We hope and pray for the best
for Nonie - her Mom - still in intensive care over
at CHANGE.
This is Spirit (now Kalua)
NOW. AND she
is pregnant! |
