Aladdin was the victim of horse tripping here in Sonoma; he was badly injured but still walking so they thought he might fetch some money at the auction. He is a beautiful guy and very well bred - that did not protect him tho. Caroline Latimer and Patricia Pombo stepped forward to give him a forever home. Equine Angels of the First Degree.

Shay is a 5 yr 15 hand Polish Arab (mother is Persie). Very gentle and charming. Has ground work and needs saddle training.

Artemis was a refuge from the Mexican Rodeo - here Dianne Sommerfeld gives her a little rehab training. She found a home with Dianne's friend! She is such a pretty unicorn....

Beau is a very friendly gentle 5 year old TB Gelding looking for a new home.   Approximately 16 hh. and broke to ride.  His current owner is a novice with four children and he feels Beau’s TB energy and “greeness” is not a good fit for his family. Beau has been gentle with his children and they have ridden him around without a problem.

Rosie the Wonder Horse!

Sponsored by Amy Bailey of SF!

Rosie has a lot of training and has a lot to give. She knows all the cues and has done it all – parades, cutting, horse shows, etc.  Consistent High Point winner.  Easy keeper, respectful of fences (hot wire doesn’t even need to be on).  About 15.1. 30 years old. Stout, well muscled. Ridden regularly. Owner has hit on real hard times and sadly must re-home her after owning her all her life.

Her Foster Mom reports:
"Today she did a lot of running, she got separated when the herd dropped down a trail into the creek. Lacy came back to support her. I didn't know where they were so I climbed a fence and got on her bareback with just a halter and lead. I took her up a back trail to the top of the pasture. The lead rope came untied on one side and I found she neck reined just fine with just one rope, and stopped on verbal command. The horses were not there so we headed back to the creek. Lacy took off way ahead of us, Rosie was stressing and pulling but behaved on the way back. We went down the short trail to the creek and found the herd. A big relief. I'll be watching her tomorrow to she if she is sore and make sure she doesn't get lost. I can't stop thinking about what a amazing horse she really is. "
