Entrique -  This is a very special horse.  He is a 26 yr registered Arab gelding. He is amazingly sensitive and  he responds to a quiet thought and small suggestion.  Everyone who takes care of him and clinics I take him to, fall in love with him.  He has been called the professor.  Even though he can be spirited he was the beginners horse at a Linda Tellington Jones clinic we went to.  Because of his sensitivity he is an excellent teacher.  He has had his share of woundings in the past but has a sweet and brave nature.  He can be challenging if not listened to but is responsive to talking and engagement.  I have often thought he would be a great Equine guided therapy horse for work with on the ground with the right person who understands him.  A life where interaction with him can be a beneficial reciprocal relationship is what I am hoping to find for him.

Health history challenges:  He looks young and healthy and very beautiful but he does have a few health challenges that need managing.  He had an injury to his right front Suspensory ligament that I have had an ultra sound for.  It is recommended that he live on flat ground.  His eyes are sensitive and he needs a fly mask in the daytime for light sensitivity.  For the last four years he has had regular dentistry but his teeth are waves and he needs 3 to 4 pounds of pelleted food for complete nutrition.  He is able to eat hay, though, does not get enough nutrition from just the hay because of his teeth.
Cost and Condition of Placement:  I have had an accident which necessitates re-homing my horses.  To find the right home for him I am willing to participate if necessary.

How he stands for farrier and vet:  He is Very good for all.  Even as sedatives wearing off from dentistry he stands and allows the work to continue.  He stands for brushing.  Loves scratching.
