The stallion is George's Redman, Bay/Sabino reg#07-90651 Missouri Foxtrotter. Born 2/10/07, sire is Jack's Absolute Power T.& H. dam is Frontier Belle.
"Yes, I do know the names. They were stallions owned or stood by Charles and Sherry Hartley, 9235 County Road 523, Senath, Missouri 63876. 573 - 738-3221 or 573 738-2076. Their place was called Pleasure Gait Farms. Of course this information is from back when I purchased Dan and a few others .... like 12 or 13 years ago. I know they did a dispersal sale when they got up in years, and that is when Dawn bought her horses."

Foxtrotters are noted for their docile and obedient personalities. He should saddle train without incident in competent hands. He is almost ready for his new home. Maybe yours?

Rose is a sweet one. Said to be already saddle trained. We will see. Is recovering very well but will need a couple more months to get her muscle and weight in the normal range. So easy to handle; very trustworthy and interested in doing what is asked of her -which is not too much so far ;<).
She was esp. delighted to receive Winnies Horse Cookies! They were a marvel and a wonderment to her and the rest of the family. Thank you so much for the donation of these wonderful organic horse treats. See them at: http://www.winniescookies.com

"Wow - my life got really great overnight!! It was a miracle for me. Thank you everyone!"

Jeri calls him Sgetti. He is doing very well also - a beautiful 2 yr old. He is still a colt with undescended testicles. No doubt his nutrition and perhaps forced proximity to the stallion are involved. We will have him gelded one way or another. Cant wait to see him in good weight and muscle. He is also very sweet to handle and interested in everything about his new surroundings.

"Today I took the three trotters for a long walk. I led Rose and the other two ran wildly back and forth on the journey. I took them down the trail to the creek. Rose went into the water with me to the three foot level where she pawed and splashed over and over. She made me laugh so much when she would put her head underwater and troll around like a submarine. The other two stayed away until I took Rose onto the other side, then they followed and got their fetlocks wet. It was wonderful therapy for their minds."
