I am looking for a retirement home for Poupon. I lost my ranch last summer and I'm struggling to pay board. Ros Grey Poupon is an Arabian Gelding. He was born in 1989. He is 25 and has been my friend and trail companion for the last 22 years. He is approximately 14.1 and 800 pounds. He is a retired endurance horse. He has gone camping with me all over California and Nevada. He is in excellent health and can be ridden by an expert rider. 90% of the time he is a wonderful ride companion. He does bridges, bicycles, belly boats, yellow caution tape ect... but on rare occasions he can spook. He can be high spirited and he can still spin on a dime. The cold doesn't seam to bother him but the rain does. I had him in pasture but that last storm (Feb 7-9) was too hard on him. Even with a blanket on, he was wet and shivering. I had to move him into a stall and paddock. He is current on his shots and his teeth are good until next year. He was the pasture boss for many years but when I moved him, he let a younger gelding have that job. He lost his girlfriend last year and lost weight. He is looking better now.
