Hi there! I have been taking a nap in my shavings as you can see. But I can show you around my farm - it is my farm you know. I am the boss of the mini's, the donkey, the steer, the llamas and goats and.....everything.

Well almost everything. I am not the boss of Nate and Carol. But they are the only ones.

I love it when the kids come to see me. I present myself right in the middle of them. Of course, I want to give eveyone a fair opportunity to pat me and tell me how handsome I am. You have to be fair with children you know....it's very important. A lot of them have had a very hard time finding a loving place to call home and boy....I can relate to that.

The people I thought would take care of me dumped me at an auction because I had a tumor on my foot. I was very frightened and lonely then.

This is where I hold Court - that is why it is called a Courtyard.

This was my before picture after it was scrubbed for the operation. Dr. Eric Davis from the HSUS operated on me on June 15 2009. That was a long day for me.

Here I am today ! I move just fine on it and it doesn't hurt me anymore. And guess what - I am still in remission!

Dr Davis has this to say about my chances for full remission; " I think they are excellent at this point, It IS important that if the tumor starts to grow again that it be treated before it gets more than an inch above the skin edge, but at this point I don't think that is going to happen.  The area in the center of the wound that still looks like it needs skin over it may take a prolonged period (months) to completely cover over. This is characteristic of lower leg wounds on horses."

And so I am free to cavort at will !!
