Loni

Loni is a lovely and well trained girl - ready to be best friends with a lonely gelding or mare. Sweet to relate to - she will talk with you if you know how. Quite the character; she has many opinions but is never aggressive.

Loni is 24 years . She is a TB and is 16 hands. She gets along great with other horses and would be a good fit in a pasture - not an alpha mare at all.

Great feet - barefoot. UTD on teeth and all shots.

She stands well for farrier, foot cleaning and vet. Likes her routine as all horses do; responds to consistent attention with trust and affection.

She is a very sweet girl who was used as a hunter jumper and 3 day eventer. Good ground manners; easy to halter in the pasture.

Her previous owners have taken meticulous care of Loni all her life - so she has a lot of life left in her. A lovely long mane and a lively demeanor - Loni is polite but not a dead head.....

Loni's 2 gelding admirers (that's Cloud on the left - ADOPTED) from across the fence made quite the show of welcome - there aint nuthin like a dame!

"We are beside ourselves with a desire to make you welcome my dear...."

"I used to do dressage you know...want to see my moves?"

Now it is 4 months later; the grey gelding Cloud Mountain has been adopted; Loni has moved in with the owners gelding Taz and now a newly rescued mare is moved into the pasture across the drive.

Loni discusses with me how displeased she is with this younger woman and is not at all interested in sharing her guy with her....just so everyone knows that. She is quite expressive in her way.....
