Breed : Quarter pony type
Age: (foaling year) 1994
Size/color: Approx 14. hands, Black/bay, white star, white snip on muzzle, white coronet both hind feet, old rope burn scars both hind feet below fetlock.
Sex: Gelding
Registered: No

Soundness/health : Healthy, current on vaccine, worming and hoof care, needs front shoes for riding otherwise gets gimpy, no problems with shoes on. He has a string halt on his right rear leg that does not hinder him in riding or cause any lameness. While he grazes sometimes it will lift up but no lameness issues. When you lift this right leg to clean his feet he will hold it high as if he cannot balance. We just hold on to it until he can relax it. We have found that warming him up by riding or lunging will help this leg relax for lifting. Our shoer has no problems lifting this leg.

Training : well broke, knows all three gaits, does best with a knowledgeable hand (Can test sometimes-but very easy to solve). Very personable, curious, in your pocket. Easy to handle on the ground. Gets along great with other horses. Loads, trailers, ties great. Longest trail ride so far was 3 hours, Oliver walked out beautifully the whole way. Smooth & dainty movement.
