Reese is a 15 hand quarter horse bay gelding 16 yrs old. Reese does have some fibrotic myopathy which gives him a shorter step on his left hind leg. I have had him out on trail rides and has never been sore the following day and is very willing to go out for a trail ride. (Vet I used was Jerri Waddington here in Clearlake.) He does not take anything for this condition.

He just can not do strenuous riding like barrels or gymkhana or cutting . He trailers, good for farrier ( I put shoes on his front feet when I take him out but right now he is barefoot and doing fine) and good for vet. He gets along with other horses, goats, dogs.  He is a very easy keeper and does not need grain. Right now his is on grass hay and is turned out in pasture during day. He stands when mounted neck reins, willing to do what ever, has learned to side pass to open gates, can trot and lope . Besides being used on trail rides he has gone to horse clinics and that is where he learned to open gates. worked great in the arena. He has had his shots 4-16-2011 ( rabies, west nile and EWTFC equine) also was wormed on  the same date. Reese is in Lower Lake, Lake County
