BRANDY UPDATE!

Brandy is very very sweet and easy to handle. She is somewhere between 18 and 20 and 15 hands QH mix. Her teeth make it hard to tell her exact age.

Brandy's previous owners told Animal Control that she had cancer and pointed to a lump on her shoulder. I guess that is why they starved her to a body score of 1.5. After being impounded the vet took a biopsy - the report came back "superficial pustular dermatitis ....suggesting an allergic" fly or mosquito bite with additional fungal invasion. Morgan at Lake County Animal Control has done a wonderful job of helping her back to ideal weight. In addition she has had her teeth floated, feet are in great shape and has all her shots.

A wonderful find. AC reports she is an uncomplicated gal that wants to please.

Currently at a SAFER foster home where she can be ridden and shown. Call Kate at 707-824-9543

Brandy has been ridden consistently by a volunteer who reports she is very willing to please. She would be great for an intermediate child or adult rider - A lovely sight under saddle. Very healthy with many years of riding left in her.

Leaving Lake County Animal Control to go to a wonderful Foster Mom - Susan Edwards in Kelseyville.
