Here is a sweet little Morab from Martinez County Animal Control named Baba. This pic is from when he was first unloaded. He is 12 and around 15 hands. Trained to ride but has been in pasture for a few years.

Melody was picked up at the Petaluma auction. She was very very dehydrated and thin. She was clearly an older mare - but a special home was in her future....

Melody's Adoption...

Jesse James was picked up at auction with Melody (above). He was a very special little horse. He had a tumor on his hind leg that probably caused him to wind up at the auction. Dr. Eric Davis of the National Humane Society operated on Jesse for free and he has remained WELL!!

The three Mighty Mins. Mom Dad and Daughter. Ellie, Mono and Peanut. Left in a field for a decade and after too many Animal Control visits - decided to euth them. SAFER stepped in, paid for gelding. Terrible hooves needed lots of trimming - thank you LINDA COWLES.

Adopted Now at Home....

Their owner has had these two wonderful Arabs for 26 years. Now with the mortgage crises - they needed new homes. The Glide Foundation took them in and they have a wonderful life now. Check out their journey!
